The Laboratory Services Division of CEM provides support every step of the way, from initial sampling strategies to final reporting of results and recommendations.

Quality assurance is paramount and CEM's monitoring meets or exceeds all mandated guidelines. The chromatography and spectroscopy laboratories run quality control samples consisting of blanks, duplicate analyses, spiked analyses, and independent standard verification samples. Our microscopy laboratory quality checks 20% of all samples, double the industry rate. For chemical analysis, accuracy and precision data are generated from two (2) laboratory control samples (LCS), where possible. The first LCS is analyzed as a media/method spike and the second is analyzed and compared to the first as a media/method duplicate.
