Field Guide
Overview
The Certified Environmental Management Field Guide is a proprietary database of chemical information developed over the past two decades. Our Field Guide currently contains data for more than 3650 chemicals including:
  • Chemical identification information
  • Toxicological data for hazardous substances including carcinogenicity, health effects, symptoms, etc.
  • Occupational exposure limits (OEL) information for over forty jurisdictions across the world
  • Personal protection and exposure prevention information
  • Sampling information for hazardous substances
Sections
The Field Guide has three main sections to give an abundance of information from three different angles:
  • Chemical Information Database - A comprehensive database shows detailed information for individual chemicals. This database can be searched by Chemical Identification, Sampling Method, Toxicological, and Regulatory information.
  • Sampling Plan Creator - A tool for creating Sampling Plans (Estimates) listing chemicals to be sampled, quantities, media, methods, sampling information, and pricing.
  • Sampling Methods - A resource to access specific documents detailing sampling information for NIOSH, OSHA, and other sampling methods.
Access
The CEM Field Guide is part of the CEM Enhanced Access Portal on our secure server. In order to access this secure area of our Web Site, you must be a registered user. Registration is free and only takes a few moments of time.
